The NAFO Conservation and Enforcement Measures incorporate all NAFO measures presently in force as adopted by the Commission in accordance with provisions of Articles VI and XIV of the Convention on Cooperation in the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries. Every year the NAFO CEM is revised by the Commission. The current document incorporates amendments which were adopted at the most recent NAFO Annual Meeting in September.
These Measures shall, unless otherwise provided, apply to all fishing vessels used or intended for use for the purposes of commercial fishing activities conducted on fishery resources in the Regulatory Area as defined in Article 1 of the NAFO Convention.
